Hopscotch Food Exhibitor Info
BC’s Most Iconic Food and Beverage Showcase is Back for its 29th Year in 2024!
6,000+ Attendees / Libation Gourmands
What is Hopscotch Festival?
This is the event that started it all. It broke the mould as to what a tasting event should be and paved the way for an epicurean paradise. It is one of the largest Feaster events, with many thousands of foodies and alcohol purchasers attending each year. The weeklong festival brings together a celebration of culinary delights and spirits through two public-facing Grand Tasting Halls, an industry-only tasting, as well as Master Classes and Satellite events for our premium whisky and spirit brands. The festival definitely has an emphasis on food, and welcomes all types of spirits, beer, wine, saké and other types of libations. It takes place each year in November, for brands to meet with and talk to consumers going into the holiday season.
Why Participate?
There are two-tastings at Hopscotch Festival, with the intention of offering maximum brand exposure in the least amount of days required to be there. It’s a fun, food and spirit filled weekend with an excellent demographic. They come for a good time, and to discover new local food finds while learning about each brand’s products and offerings.
How Does It Work?
Each 10’x10’ booth provides a canvas for your culinary artistry. Guests are able to purchase food using debit/credit cards. Each food exhibitor will be given Moneris terminals to accepts the attendees payments. For each $1 that a food exhibitor receives, $0.25 is retained by Feaster, while the lion’s share, $0.75 is remitted back to the food exhibitor*. Food exhibitors are able to choose the pricing of their food items. There are two public tastings, allowing for maximum exposure to a large, food-centric audience while offering maximum time to speak with each patron and a booth.
What Does It Cost?
While alcohol booths do cost several hundred dollars, prepared/hot food booths cost $0. If a food exhibitor is for a retail item (i.e. a brand of potato chips, beef jerky, etc.), there will be a small cost for its booth.
