What is VCBW?

As the craft beer industry began to grow with immense velocity, and BC became one of the world’s meccas of craft beer, VCBW was born to showcase the incredible beers available within the province. Over 10 years later, VCBW has evolved into one of the world's premier craft beer and food festivals, drawing an enthusiastic horde of food lovers from far and wide to savour and explore the unique offerings. VCBW is one of the world’s best craft beer festivals, welcoming many, many thousands of foodies and craft beer drinkers to taste and learn about the available bites and brews. It provides breweries and food artisans the opportunity to showcase their food, beers and ciders, and at the same time connect with the local foodie and craft beer consumer base.

Why Participate?

VCBW is a one-day festival full of food, music, great drinks and fun. The demographic of this event are eager to discover new local food finds while learning about each vendor’s products and offerings. 

How Does it Work?

Each 10’x10’ booth provides a canvas for your culinary artistry. Guests are able to purchase food using debit/credit cards. Each food exhibitor will be given Moneris terminals to accepts the attendees payments. For each $1 that a food exhibitor receives, $0.25 is retained by Feaster, while the lion’s share, $0.75 is remitted back to the food exhibitor*. Food exhibitors are able to choose the pricing of their food items. Participation in VCBW offers exposure to a large, food-centric audience while offering time to connect with patrons at a booth.

What Does it Cost?

While alcohol booths do cost several hundred dollars, prepared/hot food booths cost $0. If a food exhibitor is for a retail item (i.e. a brand of potato chips, beef jerky, etc.), there will be a small cost for its booth.
