What is Whisky Global?
Whisky Global, a distinguished platform dedicated to the appreciation of premium whisky, is poised to return with its renowned showcase and tasting event in Toronto. Catering to discerning individuals who exhibit a heightened affinity for whisky, particularly within the demographic characterized by higher income levels and aged between 30 to 55 years, Whisky Global has consistently delivered exceptional experiences for this demographic. Following the resounding success of its 12th Annual Vancouver and the launch of Toronto and Calgary editions, all of which achieved full capacity attendance within its targeted audience segment, Whisky Global now sets its sights on captivating Montreals & Edmontons ‘next gen’ whisky enthusiasts.
Why Participate?
Whisky Global provides an unparalleled opportunity for whisky brands to engage with a distinct demographic of consumers, diverging from the typical audience encountered at conventional whisky tastings. Strategically situated, branded, and marketed, it targets a unique segment of whisky enthusiasts rarely encountered in traditional settings. Each designated ‘whisky slot’ affords exhibitors a 6-foot table to showcase up to 5 SKUs, with the premier SKU reserved for the exclusive super-premium VIP-hour. Exhibitors are not compensated for the poured product, as all whisky samples are included in the guests’ ticket price, along with additional amenities such as dinner, coat-check service, and a commemorative whisky glass.
How Does it Work?
Brands may register for a table, or agencies with multiple brands can as well. Dressed in their ‘Sunday bests’, attendees visit the different tables, learning about what makes each of the available whiskies so unique and special. Sample sizes are quite small as there is no remittance on product. Each table is to pour their most premium SKU exclusively during the VIP hour. A company may showcase up to 4 additional SKUs during the GA portion. Whisky Global sells through over $40k of whisky at the onsite store in the 8-hours it is open.
It is 100% required to have at least 2-people working at each booth.
