What is Whisky Global?

Whisky Global is, by far, British Columbia’s premier and largest whisky festival. It showcases (almost) exclusively premium whisky and at times, cognac on a case-by-case basis. It sells out every year and shows no signs of slowing down. If a premium whisky brand is available within BC, it should be at Whisky Global.

Why Participate?

If a premium whisky is available within BC, it should be at this event. Whisky Global Vancouver attracts the most serious of whisky purchasers to sample and learn about what whiskies are available within the market. The attendees are extremely knowledgeable about whisky and attend to purchase. 

How Does it Work?

In Kelowna, Whisky Global has two separate tastings on the one-day of the event. This allows brands maximum exposure to each guest in attendance. Brands may register for a table, or agencies with multiple brands can as well. Dressed in their ‘Sunday best’, attendees visit the different tables, learning about what makes each of the available whiskies so unique and special. Sample sizes are quite small as there is no remittance on product. Each table is to pour their most premium SKU exclusively during the VIP hour. A company may showcase up to 4 additional SKUs during the GA portion. 

Although it is recommended to have 2-people working at each booth, one person does suffice.

What Does it Cost?

There is no early-bird pricing for this event. Each invited brand will have two weeks from the time of being sent their invitation to register. If they do not register within their ‘window’, the invitation will be offered to the next whisky brand on the list.
